Charlotte Tilbury After Hours Look Party Makeup Kit
I was very kindly sent the Charlotte Tilbury After Hours Look Party Makeup kit just before Christmas in time for the party season (including the New Year celebrations for which this set is so apt).

The kit includes:
Currently available Filmstar Bronze & Glow in the light to medium shade (containing a 16g product fill): a contour palette to sculpt and define the complexion for powerful and sharp cheekbones and a highlight to complete the look. These shades are designed for light to medium skin tones.
The Filmstar Bronze & Glow provides for none of the often seen harshness of contour. The coverage is pronounced but subtle at the same time. The contour colour contains blend of pearl in order to deliver a sunkissed look to the complexion whilst the highlight boasts a universal golden undertone.
The powder are light, natural and easily blendable. The product is paraben free and comes in a stunning gold compact teamed with a generous size mirror inside, able to fit into your party clutch. In terms of the colour pay off the contour shade translates to a warm brown on contact with the skin, this does not come off as orange on the skin.
My most favourite product in the kit was the Luxury Palette of Pops in Starlight (product fill 5.2g). I had missed out on the Supersonic palette (even on the second round of it being sold) so I was super delighted to be able to try out this eyeshadow quad of smouldering party eye colours. The palette takes inspiration from the planets of the galaxy to create this uniquely out of the world quad of colours.
The colours contain multi-reflecting pearls offering a super glitzy and shimmering, galactic eye look. It also contains glossy ester designed to deliver high intensity colour and brightness. The colours are long-lasting, intense and with zero fall-out.
To cover the festive lip-look and to balance evenly with the intense eyes and sculpted features (delivered by the products above) is the Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk (product fill 3.5g). The award winning matte lipstick is the perfect nude lip colour to deliver a full top and bottom lips without the filler.
To outline the lips is quite a generous size of the Mini Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk (product fill 0.8g). The lipliner helps to reshape, define and size the lips per your preferred way of lip-lining. This lipliner is universal and creates the most beautiful barely there, pink-hued, nude lip look. You can even go in and fill the whole of the lips with this colour before gently pursing the lips together for even colour coverage. This is a waterproof formula which lasts for hours on end.
The lipstick contains 3D glowing pigments which create the illusion of much bigger lips. To nourish the lips is the presence of Triglycerides mixed with a blend of oils and waxes. Particularly commendable is the square edge tip of the lipstick which illiminates the need for a lip applicator brush as it just makes real easy work of precise colour placement on the lips.
To complete the look is the Mini Rock ‘n’ Kohl in Bedroom Black (with a product fill of 0.8g). This is a superbly pigmented, intense black and smokey eyeliner for the most truly dramatic eyes. As per the lip liner, the eye liner too has a long lasting formula and is waterproof. The eyeliner contains crushed pearl powder which assists in collagen production, an essential for those of us with ageing eyes! It is both paraben and preservative free, sure to keep even the most irritable eyes comfortable through the party night.
