Peony Noir by Michael Bublé
I was very kindly sent the Peony Noir fragrance by Michael Buble to try. This is their latest addition to their By Invitation range. These are my thoughts:
From the smell to the chic bottle I was won over straightaway.
Scent - The fragrance is a mix of sweet rose and orange blossom with base notes of sandalwood and cedarwood. I picked up on all four of these. The combination makes it a fragrance ideal to compliment your Autumn/ Winter wardrobe best. This is the right balance of a fruity, autumnal, natural and woody scent.
The scent develops during the course of the day, blending with you and smelling utterly beautiful.
Longevity - The fragrance lasts for most part of the day and does not disappear quickly. I am actually amazed at the staying power of it.
Aesthetics - In terms of the bottle's appearance, the bottle is made of a thick, tough glass adding weight to the fragrance, making it not only sturdy but also less likely to break. The design of the bottle is pretty, a little masculine, but pretty with an ombre black colour to the bottle.
All in all this has truly been a very beautiful creation from MB and takes centre stage on my vanity. I've loved this so much that my mum has nabbed this perfume to use as well.
