MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation

I have had this foundation for some time now and have probably only used it a maximum of three times. My last usage of the foundation is a testimony of why this product has not been a commonly 'reached-for' product.
I have oily skin, oily like no ones business. My skin could probably solve worldwide oil crises. My oiliness is a daily struggle and I am one of those people that are constantly armed with some sort of powder and powder brush every couple of hours.
I bought the MAC Studio Fix foundation on the premise that it would 'do the job' and save me a little bit from my oily woes. Low and behold it unfortunately did neither. It did not even impart a lovely shiny glow to my face that I would have gladly settled for.
I applied the foundation at around 7am, application was fine and the finish was fine, when I walked out of the door. However come 11am my face was looking darker than my normal face colour. For reference I have the NC25 colour (some shade-margin-of-appreciation is permissible with oily skin types).
Come the afternoon my face had turned more orange than a bag of tangy Doritos (and blimming heck I love me some Doritos) and my skin was partly crying oil too. Make no mistake the foundation had indeed oxidised irrelevant of the fact that I had purchased the foundation a shade lighter than I would normally dare. Lord knows what colour my skin would have been if I'd gone NC30.
Needless to say I won't be repurchasing this, indeed I won't even be finishing the 90% of product which remains.
This foundation simply does not work for my oily skin but may be an entire success story for those with dry and possibly combination skin. I firmly do not recommend this foundation for my oily counterparts though. Please spend your hard worked cash elsewhere.
