Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush in Pillow Talk

I purchased this blusher directly from the CT website in December on receiving a delightful email confirming that the blush, which has been a previous sell out, was back in stock alongside its eyeshadow counterpart.
The website describes it as being a two-tone pink and champagne powder blush. When I first applied it, I came home to some glowing comments from my sister as to how radiant and glowy my skin looked. I hadn't had a chance to touch my makeup up during the course of the day and was very pleasantly surprised to see that the blush had lasted several hours +.
Not only had it lasted but it also made my skin look so much more healthier, radiant and lit-from-within. This is a very much buildable blush but its most notable characteristics are the natural glow that it imparts together with the astoundingly amazing longevity. I find that most other blushers just do not hold up well to time, you will not have this problem with this one no matter how oily your skin might be.
There is a subtle irrisdescence to it which is so natural that it becomes one with the skin and it is not glittery at all. This is where the light flex technology comes in to capture and re-emit light for that luminous look.
The blush leaves quite the glow on the skin and there is therefore no need to wear a separate highlighting/illuminating product on top. The only thing I would say is that because the blush is so well pigmented you have to make sure you apply it in a well lit room as otherwise you may full well end up running the possibility of over applying.
The consistency of the powder itself is finely milled and better applied with a medium-stiff brush for a more controlled application, do go at the pan with a gentle hand though as you can end up accidentally picking up more product than you may need.
I seldom say this, but the blush just looked so pretty on my skin and I am truly over the moon at having waited it out to purchase this.
In terms of the packaging, this is equally commend-worthy with a lovely little mirror big enough for you to see the application process through, whilst on the go.
This is the second blush I have from the range, the first I bought was the love is a drug which is an equally gorgeous colour. For reference I am a neutral undertone, light/medium skin tone, asian colouring/brown eyes and would say that the pillow talk shade is pretty universal. I have very oily skin.
Other points gaining this blusher some serious brownie points is the fact that it is vegan friendly and paraben free.
I have been well and truly blown away by this Tilbury installment and recommend it as an essential in everyone's makeup bag. As an added tip why not apply some of the blush as an eyeshadow for a truly ethereal look? Those of you who may have missed out on the Pillow Talk palette may appreciate a similarly emulated look by using the blush this way.
To purchase the blush, you can click here for a direct link to the page. This is an ideal gift for those stuck on what to buy this Christmas! At £30 this is product which pays for itself in quality, over and over again. 5 stars.

I hope to be back with some more Tilbury creations very soon.
Love,
GSA
