I was kindly sent the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter ('FF') in shade 2 to try. The Charlotte Tilbury Press team were so lovely that they couriered out the FF to me on the very day of finalising enquiries about it (during snow week as well, I really can't glow on about how impressed I was! They are so super kind and wonderful).
I will preface this review by stating that I too was one of those lassies that had managed to initially think that this product was a foundation (when you look at the bottle it looks like it has foundation in it though!).
Upon reading more about the product I realised that this is more akin to it's Wonderglow sibling. However this is Wonderglow x 10. This is your illuminator, your radiance, your highlight and glow giver in one.
Worn by itself, with a bit of eye makeup and tidied brows, this is your au natural look pinned down to a T (this so ideal for the weekend particularly when you want to look good but without too much skin-gear on). When worn under your foundation this is that kick that your foundation really needs to give the visibility of more three dimensional, ethereal and radiant skin.
In respect of the general features, the product has a liquidy texture to it and for those of you that have oily skin a little will go a long way (you will find that this is all you will need, too much and you will find that your skin will be far too shiny).
For those of you with a drier skin type you can get away with using more product as this is quite moisturising.
In respect of whether you can wear this over your foundation, yes you can! Just simply dot and blend where desired (gently).
The product retails at £30 and comes in a beautiful glass bottle which just looks so pretty sat on the vanity table! I really love the red lettering on the bottle as it just makes the product look that more luxe. Charlotte Tilbury also provide free product samples of other items that you can grab while you're at it.
I hope that this review will aid anybody who is looking to purchase this product but is uncertain of whether this is for you or not. For reference I have oily skin/with light-medium asian skin colouring.
Finally I have trialled this product and miniature samples of it previously for a period of 3 weeks before writing my review. If you've any questions please feel free to comment down below and I would be more than happy to help! Thank you for reading.
Love,
GSA.
xx
