Filorga Time Filler Eyes Absolute Eye Correction Cream 15ml
I was kindly sent a sample of this to try by the lovely beauty team at Marks and Spencers earlier last year. I have significant space between my eyes and brows which while seemingly wonderful is a curse when the eyes begin to age. I noticed fine lines and sagging of the skin on my eye lids around a year ago and it appeared to have only gotten worse over the year.
I recently popped open my sample of the Filorga Time Filler Eyes Absolute Eye Correction Cream (shortened and hereinafter referred to as the “Filorge Eye Cream” for the purposes of this written piece) and began using it consistently having had various other sample size eye serums run out on me.
I am naturally sceptical about any piece of skincare delivering any type of overnight miracle and have seldom come across products which have left me gobsmacked (in the good way). That scepticism was automatically transferred to the Filorga Eye Cream until I noticed the condition of my eyes some few days later…
To preface this review, I am 30 year old I do not have crows feet or dark circles under my eyes. If you’ve either of these eye concerns then you may find that my review may not be particularly helpful. If however you’ve fines lines on your lids and or sagging/drooping skin then my review may be of assistance.
The filorga eye cream is not irritable on my eyes. As a contact lense wearer this is an important factor for me, my eyes are already working hard to keep up with the demands of wearing contact lenses, quick loss of moisture compounded by central heating in the colder days, environmental pollutants etc but I was pleased to enjoy the comfort of wearing this formulation on my eyes.
It absorbs so well and does not leave greasy residue as some other eye creams do. The consistency is a smooth gel like texture which is also demi matte and therefore enables you to feel comfortable wearing it unlike those eye creams that are greasy in texture and application.
I like that you can actually use this eye cream on both the upper lid as well as under eye, a lot of eye creams either are only designed for under eyes or are silent on whether you can apply the eye cream to the upper lid, as mentioned before my issues are mainly with the upper lid and this is what the Filorga Eye Cream says it can help with.
The fragrance of the eye cream is very subtle and does not interfere with the efficacy of the product. I have noticed a significant difference in the firmness of my upper eye lids, my eyes appear a lot more youthful and the upper lids show less lines than before which inevitably means that eye makeup goes on more seamlessly.
All in all this will definitely be a repurchase treatment for me. It is available to purchase directly from the M&S site here . Do you have any eye creams that you think deserve cult status, I’d love to hear!
Love,
GSA
