Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in Pillow Talk
I was fortunate enough to be able to get my hands on the PT eyeshadow palette before it sold out the second time around. My sister produced a stunner look on me using this gorgeous palette and here are my thoughts:
Described as a "pretty, feminine every day eyeshadow palette with four shimmer and matte shades, featuring champagne pink, matte dusky rose, soft matte brown and a rose gold sparkle", it is every bit the gorgeousness that is encapsulated in this description of it.
This is a palette which is perfectly appropriate for producing a day time look to taking you through to a more understated evening look. "Au natural" are the words that scream out to me when I use this palette. It reminds me a lot of the Duchess of Sussex's wedding look.
Pigment and consistency - the palette delivers an intense pigment and the consistency is buttery and provides for none of that awful fall out that a lot of other palettes cause. Those with fair/medium skin will note that the colours come out more intense on lighter skin tones. I dare say they would be equally if not more flattering on darker colourings. The palette also provides for opening up and truly brightening up the eye area.
Tone - the palette contains colours which are all very warm to carry and great for an all year-round look.
Blendability - (there is no such word but here we have it) The colours in the palette blend very well together. Those that routinely wear eyeliner may find that they will only need a small slick of mascara to truly complete the au natural look.
Product value vs cost - The palette is good value for money and you will not run out of product any time soon. The palette costs £39.00 and is well worth every penny.
In lesser words I would describe this palette as natural on steroids! Instant, pretty, bridal romance.
For those keen Charlotte Tilbury fans, many of you might have noticed a similarity in some of the colours in the Stars in your eyes palette to the pillow talk palette.
Pair this palette with the complete PT look, lipliner, lipstick, blush everything. Please also see here for my glowing review on the PT blush palette.
I understand that that the eyeshadow palette will be part of the permanent range come 2019 so it is well worth investing in.
Love,
GSA
